About Dr. William Dando
Dr. William Dando believes uses the "total body wellness" approach, and skillfully combines his training and experience to encompass: cutting-edge cosmetic treatments, traditional medicines and homeopathic support.
Dr. Dando earned his Medical Degree, and graduated Cum Laude with honors, then worked in Emergency medicine before starting his career in Family Practice, commencing with Residency Training through the University of Maryland.
Dr. Dando moved from larger practices to smaller practices, realizing the correlation between practice size and personalized patient care, and preferring to work in a small practice, allowing him to focus on patients. He discovered in medical school and an early interest in surgical dermatology. This gradually grew from treatment of more common office skin procedures to in depth study of aesthetic enhancements, including: cosmetic laser treatments, Botox cosmetic injections, wrinkle fillers, facial sculpting and vein treatments. These and other treatments are a few of the traditional services he offers in addition to the popular Smart Lipo™ body contouring technique. Smartlipo™ is a minimally invasive method of advanced body sculpting that allows surgeons to remove unwanted fat, then shape, sculpt and tone nearly any area of the body. Due to encouragement from his patients Dr. Dando has continued to train and expand his scope of practice. He is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians, Associate Residency Teacher University of Maryland Residency Program, Associate of the American Academy of Cosmetic Family Physicians, Member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the Maryland Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Dando is a gifted doctor who has a strong scope of the Latin American culture. He also speaks fluent Spanish, which makes the Cosmetic Laser and Medical Center a Baltimore a rare exception in the area - to better serve the expanding Spanish Baltimore population.
